We design and guide adventure journeys across Nepal and other Asian destinations, sharing our passion for mountains, culture, and exploration with travelers worldwide.
The Manaslu Trek is for trekkers who want something wilder and more authentic than the busier Everest and Annapurna trails. Circling the world’s eighth-highest peak, this trek combines dramatic landscapes with Tibetan-influenced culture and quiet, rugged trails.
Over 14–16 days you’ll pass terraced fields, dense forests, and remote Buddhist villages before climbing steadily toward Larkya La Pass at 5,160 meters. From the top, sweeping views of Manaslu, Himlung, and Annapurna ranges make the climb worth every step.
“White Himalaya Treks provides the best customer service one could ever receive and at a fair price. Would definitely reccomend to anyone looking to do any type of activities here in Nepal. ”
The Manaslu trek is rated moderately difficult. You’ll trek 6–7 hours a day on varied terrain, with the biggest challenge being the ascent over Larkya La Pass at 5,160 meters. Good fitness and some trekking experience are recommended.
Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) are the best times, with clear skies and stable weather. Winter is colder but possible with preparation, while the summer monsoon makes trails muddy and less ideal.
It helps, but it’s not essential. If you have a good fitness level and prepare with cardio and strength training, you can complete the Manaslu trek without prior high-altitude trekking experience.
